Duran Duran have reunited with Nile Rodgers for their disco-leaning new single 'Free To Love'
The pair's creative partnership stretches back over four decades.

Duran Duran is an English pop rock band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band was initially founded by keyboardist Nick Rhodes, guitarist (later bassist) John Taylor, and singer/bassist Stephen Duffy. After several lineup changes, the band settled in May 1980 with Rhodes, Taylor, singer Simon Le Bon, guitarist Andy Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor. They became prominent figures in the New Romantic scene of the early 1980s and were known for their innovative music videos. Duran Duran played a significant role in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion of the United States. Their debut album, titled 'Duran Duran,' was released in 1981 and featured the song 'Girls on Film,' which gained popularity partly due to its controversial music video. Their second album, 'Rio' (1982), achieved worldwide success, with hit singles 'Hungry Like the Wolf' and 'Rio,' both accompanied by cinematic music videos directed by Russell Mulcahy. Their third album, 'Seven and the Ragged Tiger,' reached number one in the UK and included the singles 'The Reflex,' which topped charts in both the US and UK. The band maintained a high profile throughout the 1980s and beyond, with a series of successful albums and singles.
