She gained prominence with her song 'I Am Woman,' which has accumulated over 300 million streams. The song went viral after she posted a short clip, prompting her to write, record, and release the full track. 'I Am Woman' served as the theme song for Meghan Markle's podcast Archetypes. Meli's music has been featured in advertising campaigns for brands including Intimissimi, Triumph UK, Savage X Fenty, dm-drogerie markt, Brutal Fruit, and Disney+.
