FLOHIO

Flohio, born Funmi Ohiosumah in Lagos, Nigeria, is a British rapper based in South London. Her music features unusual beats, expansive themes, genre fluidity, and periodic double-time flows. She has rejected the label of grime, which some have associated with her work, as too limiting. Flohio performs as a solo artist and has collaborated with God Colony and Modeselektor. Her family moved to Bermondsey, South East London, when she was nine years old. She released her first EP, Nowhere Near, in 2016, followed by the EP Wild Yout in 2018, and her debut mixtape No Panic No Pain in 2020. Her debut album, Out of Heart, was released on 7 October 2022. She has cited Channel U, Eve, and Lil Wayne as some of her early influences.
