
Boomtown is turning part of its 2026 festival into a live research laboratory

Kieran Miles David Hebden, born September 1977, is an English electronic musician known as Four Tet. He gained recognition as a member of the post-rock band Fridge before releasing solo albums such as Rounds (2003), Everything Ecstatic (2005), and There Is Love in You (2010). Hebden's discography includes twelve studio albums as Four Tet, as well as improvisational works with jazz drummer Steve Reid and collaborations with Burial and Thom Yorke. He has produced albums for the American improvisational group Sunburned Hand of the Man and Syrian dabke singer Omar Souleyman, and arranged Madlib's 2021 album Sound Ancestors. Hebden has remixed tracks by artists including Aphex Twin, Bicep, Explosions in the Sky, Bloc Party, Super Furry Animals, Radiohead, Ellie Goulding, J Dilla, Lana Del Rey, Manic Street Preachers, Sia, Black Sabbath, and Madvillain; several remixes were compiled on Remixes (2006). He has performed DJ sets with Skrillex and Fred Again.
