Samuel Shepherd, born in 1986, is a British electronic music producer, DJ, and musician known professionally as Floating Points. He is the founder of Pluto Records, the co-founder of Eglo Records, and leads a 16-piece group called Floating Points Ensemble.

Floating Points and CASISDEAD will headline London's RALLY Festival 2025, featuring live music, art installations, and cultural performances.
The electronic musician returns to his roots with a new 9-track album, set for release on September 13th via Ninja Tune.
The track arrives via Ninja Tune alongside a trance-like music video.
Their second of 2022, it follows up on last month's 'Vocoder'.
They join a line-up already including Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Grimes (DJ Set), Phoenix, Mac DeMarco, girl in red, Central Cee, slowthai, Greentea Peng and more.
