About Frank Turner

Frank Turner, born on 28 December 1981, is an English singer-songwriter known for his work in punk and folk music. He initially performed as the vocalist for the post-hardcore band Million Dead before pursuing a solo career with an acoustic focus after the band's split in 2005. As a solo artist, Turner has released ten albums, including a "best of" compilation, one split album, and five EPs. His backing band, The Sleeping Souls, features Ben Lloyd on guitar and mandolin, Tarrant Anderson on bass, Matt Nasir on piano and mandolin, and Callum Green on drums. Turner's ninth studio album, FTHC, was released in February 2022 and reached number one on the UK albums chart.
