Gia Ford, born Molly Emma Elizabeth McCormick on 28 November 1996, is an English singer-songwriter. She began her career with Dirty Hit, releasing the mixtapes and EPs Poster Boy in 2019 and Murder in the Dark in 2020. She later signed to Chrysalis Records and released her debut album, Transparent Things, in 2024.

"It’s a love song, just told in a different way," she says.
"Alligator is a song about a desperation to be seen and heard," she explains.
"I’m entering a totally new era," she says.
"[It] marks the start of a new era."

"I wrote ‘Girl' because I wanted to write a pop song," Gia explains.
