
Gunna, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens on June 14, 1993, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He signed with Young Thug's YSL Records, an imprint of 300 Entertainment, in 2016. He gained prominence with his third mixtape, Drip Season 3, released in 2018. That year, he also released Drip Harder, a collaborative mixtape with Lil Baby, which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. The lead single from that project, "Drip Too Hard," reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100, received diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. His debut studio album, Drip or Drown 2, was released in 2019 and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. His second album, Wunna, released in 2020, debuted at number one on the chart. The single "Lemonade," featuring Internet Money, Don Toliver, and Nav, peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. His third album, DS4Ever, released in 2022, became his second consecutive number-one album. His fourth album, A Gift & a Curse, released in 2023, peaked at number three and included the top ten single "FukUMean."
