HIXMUSI

HixMusi (age 19) is a Caribbean British rapper; producer born in Newham and primarily raised in London, England.

He's been posting music on Soundcloud since 2019 under different aliases and genres. For “HixMusi", he either produces experimental cloud rap beats or mixtape-raps over other producers work, usually rapping about his determination to be heard, love, nostalgia, friendships, daily-life, christianity or the flaws with current society and the music industry.

Hix wears his influences on his sleeve, taking huge inspiration from late 2000s blog era rappers such as Lupe Fiasco, Charles Hamilton, B.o.B and early Kendrick Lamar with personal, conscious, juvenescent, quirky and sometimes abstract lyrics mixed with smooth flows and high amounts of passion in his verses!

He also incorporates Pop elements into his music with optimistic, bright choruses along with sampling pop stars, blending their hit songs with the style and energy found in rap music.

All HixMusi songs are available for free on his blog (hixmusi.blogspot.com) alongside the music from his other aliases with them all being released under the independent label "JixCo".
