About Iron & Wine

Iron & Wine is the stage name of Samuel Ervin Beam, an American singer-songwriter born on July 26, 1974. He has released six studio albums, along with several EPs, singles, and download-only releases, including a live album of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance. Beam occasionally tours with a full band. The name Iron & Wine was derived from a dietary supplement called "Beef, Iron & Wine" that he discovered in a general store while filming a project.
