
Jimmy Eat World are going to mark their 'Bleed American' anniversary with exclusive UK shows

Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band formed in Mesa, Arizona, in 1993. The band consists of vocalist and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. They have released ten studio albums, with all but their first featuring the current line-up. Their commercial breakthrough occurred with the release of several singles from the album Bleed American (2001), four of which charted within the top 20 positions of the Alternative Songs chart, including "The Middle," which reached No. 1. Their follow-up album, Futures (2004), featured the song "Pain," which also reached No. 1. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified Bleed American platinum and Futures gold, indicating sales of over 1.5 million copies combined. Their sixth album, Chase This Light (2007), became their highest-charting release, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Their tenth album, Surviving, was released in October 2019.
