Phoebe Bridgers will headline London’s All Points East next August, joined by Caroline Polachek, Kelsey Lu, Danielle Ponder and jasmine.4.t.
A voice-note exchange with Kelsey Lu gave Jamie xx the first piece of ‘In Waves’ that convinced him another album was possible.
From post-pandemic DJ sets to a single made while touring, Jamie xx’s recent work treats the dance floor as part of the production process.
The track features a children's choir recorded in Rome.
The track previews her second album, co-produced with Jack Antonoff and Yves Rothman.
The ten-track record features Sampha, Kamasi Washington and Kim Gordon.
Profits are going to charity, too.
It's her first new material since last year's debut.
