King Princess, born Mikaela Mullaney Straus on December 19, 1998, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor. She was signed to Mark Ronson's label Zelig Records, an imprint of Columbia Records. In February 2018, she released her debut single '1950', which appeared on her debut extended play (EP) Make My Bed. The song achieved commercial success, charting in multiple territories, and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her second single, 'Talia', was certified gold in Australia by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). In 2019, she released her debut studio album, Cheap Queen, which received widespread critical acclaim. She departed from Zelig Records prior to the release of her 2025 album Girl Violence, which was issued by Section1. In 2025, she also made her acting debut in the television series Nine Perfect Strangers.
