LANY is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles. The band was formed in Nashville in 2014 and consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Paul Klein and drummer Jake Goss. They have released four albums: LANY (2017), Malibu Nights (2018), Mama's Boy (2020), and gg bb xx (2021). Their notable singles include the RIAA-certified "ILYSB" (2015), "Super Far" (2017), "Malibu Nights" (2018), "Okay" (2019), a collaboration with Julia Michaels, and "Mean It" (2019), with Lauv. In September 2023, they released their fifth studio album, A Beautiful Blur, their first on their own imprint Sunset Records, distributed via Virgin Music Group, after leaving Polydor and Interscope Records. On July 30, 2025, they announced their sixth studio album, Soft, which was released on October 10, 2025.
