LIANNE LA HAVAS

Lianne Charlotte Barnes, born on 23 August 1989, is a British singer-songwriter known professionally as Lianne La Havas. Her career began after she was introduced to various musicians, including singer Paloma Faith, for whom she provided backing vocals. In 2010, she signed with Warner Bros. Records and spent two years developing her songwriting before releasing music. Her debut studio album, Is Your Love Big Enough?, was released in 2012 and received positive reviews; it earned her a nomination for the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll and awards for the iTunes Album of the Year 2012. She released two subsequent studio albums, Blood in 2015 and Lianne La Havas in 2020. La Havas was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 and received Brit Award nominations in 2017 and 2021. She resides in London.
