Lil Baby, born Dominique Armani Jones on December 3, 1994, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He gained recognition with the release of his 2017 mixtapes Harder than Hard and Too Hard. The mixtape Harder than Hard included his first Billboard Hot 100 entry with the single "My Dawg." He signed with Quality Control Music, an imprint of Motown and Capitol Records. His debut studio album, Harder Than Ever, was released in 2018 and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The album featured the Billboard Hot 100-top ten single "Yes Indeed," a collaboration with Drake. Later that year, he released the collaborative mixtape Drip Harder with Gunna, which included the hit "Drip Too Hard," and his solo mixtape Street Gossip, which reached number two on the Billboard 200. His second studio album, My Turn, was released in 2020, topped the Billboard 200 for five weeks, and was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It became the best-selling album of that year.
