Linkin Park tease Australian news as Live Nation shares 'August 11' video
Live Nation Australia have posted a teaser video, as posters appear in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The band’s lineup has included vocalist and guitarist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, DJ Joe Hahn, bassist Dave Farrell, vocalist Emily Armstrong, and drummer Colin Brittain. The original lineup featured lead vocalist Chester Bennington and drummer Rob Bourdon. Following Bennington’s death in July 2017, the band experienced a seven-year hiatus, during which Bourdon left the band. In September 2024, the band announced its reformation with the addition of Armstrong and Brittain. Categorized mainly as alternative rock and nu metal, their early music combined heavy metal and hip hop influences, while their later work incorporated more electronica and pop elements. Linkin Park gained international recognition with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, released in 2000, which was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album’s singles, including "One Step Closer," "Crawling," and "In the End," received extensive airplay and charted highly on the US Mainstream Rock chart.
