

Mike Shinoda is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer. He co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996, serving as co-lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, primary songwriter, and producer. In 2004, he created the hip-hop-driven side project Fort Minor. Shinoda has worked as a producer for artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Styles of Beyond, and the X-Ecutioners. He is also a co-founder of Machine Shop Records, a California-based record label. Outside of music, Shinoda is an artist and graphic designer, with some of his artwork featured in the Japanese American National Museum. In 2018, he released his debut solo album, Post Traumatic, which contains 18 songs reflecting his feelings following the death of Chester Bennington, his bandmate in Linkin Park.
