Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter born on January 1, 1997. He signed with Republic Records in 2017. His single "Hurt Somebody" achieved gold status in the United States and charted internationally. The single and its accompanying EP were released before his debut album, Busyhead, in 2019. He subsequently released two more albums: I Was / I Am in 2021 and Stick Season in 2022. The latter became his mainstream commercial breakthrough and earned him a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2023.
