PinkPantheress, born Victoria Beverley Walker on 19 April 2001, is a British singer-songwriter and record producer. She began her musical career in 2021 while attending university in London, producing songs using GarageBand and posting them on SoundCloud and TikTok. Several of her tracks, including 'Break It Off,' gained popularity on TikTok. She signed to Parlophone and Elektra Records and released her debut mixtape, To Hell with It, in 2021. Her singles "Just for Me" and "Pain" peaked in the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, and she was named BBC's Sound of 2022. Her 2022 single "Boy's a Liar" reached number two in the UK. Her debut studio album, Heaven Knows, was released in 2023 and charted in ten countries. Her music incorporates genres such as drum and bass, UK garage, house, and alternative pop, often sampling music from the 1990s and 2000s and featuring stream-of-consciousness lyrics. In 2024, she was named Producer of the Year by Billboard Women in Music, and in 2026, she was awarded British Producer of the Year at the Brit Awards, becoming the youngest person and first woman to receive the honor. She was born in Bath, Somerset, and raised in Kent.
