About Son Lux

Son Lux is an American band that originated as the solo project of Ryan Lott. The group's first three albums, At War with Walls & Mazes, We Are Rising, and Lanterns, incorporated post-rock and electronica influences. In 2015, with the release of their fourth studio album, Bones, Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang joined the project, transforming it into a three-piece band. The band released the EPs Stranger Forms and Remedy, followed by their fifth album, Brighter Wounds, in 2018. They also released a triple album titled Tomorrows in two parts, in 2020 and 2021. Son Lux composed the music for the 2022 science fiction film Everything Everywhere All at Once, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score. They are also credited with composing music for the 2025 superhero film Thunderbolts.
