The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band formed in 2003 in Gympie, Queensland. The band members include Joel Birch (lead vocals), Dan Brown (guitar), Jonathan Reeves (bass, vocals), and Joe Longobardi (drums). They have released eight studio albums. Their lyrics often address themes such as depression, anxiety, death, substance abuse, and suicide, with many songs inspired by vocalist Joel Birch's personal experiences.
