Deaf Havana are currently working towards their as-yet-unannounced fourth album; the follow up to 2013’s ‘Old Souls’.
Before all that though, they’re playing Reading & Leeds. “Every time we have played it has been an amazing experience,” says frontman James Veck-Gilodi, “especially last time we played the Radio 1 tent, so knowing we are back in there this year is even more exciting.”
Much of their time onsite is usually “a blur”, be continues - but “the first year we played, we opened the main stage and I threw up in a bush 30 seconds before we went on. That was fun.”
They play Reading later today (Sunday 28th August) on the NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage, alongside Black Foxxes, Basement, Spring King, Tonight Alive, Rat Boy, Savages, The 1975 and more.
