Slash is apparently in the studio working on new Guns N’ Roses music

Guitarist Slash is currently in the studio working on new Guns N’ Roses material, according to the band’s former publicist, Arlett Vereecke in a new interview with Classic Rock.

“I know they’re doing some recording,” she says. “They’re definitely doing something there in the studio. Axl hasn’t been there, but Slash is definitely in there and it’s not for anyone else.”

The recently reformed band are soon to start touring, with dates in Las Vegas, Mexico City, and at Coachella. They’ll be the first shows with this line-up (Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan) since 1993.

A full North American tour is expected to be announced for the summer.
