DEMI LOVATO

Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato, born August 20, 1992, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She appeared on the children's television series Barney & Friends from 2002 to 2004 and starred in the Disney Channel short series As the Bell Rings from 2007 to 2008. Lovato gained prominence for her role as Mitchie Torres in the musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010). The soundtrack of Camp Rock featured her debut single with Joe Jonas, titled 'This Is Me,' which reached number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100. After signing with Hollywood Records, she released her pop rock debut album, Don't Forget (2008), which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200. Her second album, Here We Go Again (2009), debuted at number one in the US. Her third and fourth albums, Unbroken (2011) and Demi (2013), incorporated pop and R&B influences and debuted at numbers four and three in the US, respectively, featuring singles such as 'Skyscraper' and 'Heart Attack.' Her fifth and sixth albums included soul elements; Confident (2015) received a Grammy Award nomination, and the single 'Sorry Not Sorry' from Tell Me You Love Me (2017) reached number six on the US charts.
