Robyn Rihanna Fenty, born February 20, 1988, is a Barbadian singer, businesswoman, and actress. She has sold over 250 million records, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Rihanna signed with Def Jam Recordings and released her debut albums, Music of the Sun (2005) and A Girl Like Me (2006), both of which reached the top ten of the US Billboard 200. The singles "Pon de Replay" and "SOS" peaked at numbers two and one on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively. She adopted a more mature image and transitioned to dance-pop and R&B with her album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) and its reissue Reloaded (2008). This project produced hit singles including "Umbrella," "Take a Bow," and "Disturbia," all of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
