GIRLI

Girli, born Amelia Toomey on 6 December 1997, is an English singer and songwriter based in London. She has released five EPs, two studio albums, and several singles. Her music has been described as blending elements of PC Music, bubblegum pop, pop punk, and rap, with a focus on catchy melodies and deliberate discomfort. Her work often addresses themes related to feminism, sexuality, queer culture, and mental health. In April 2019, she released her debut studio album, Odd One Out, on PMR Records. After parting ways with her record label and canceling her 2020 Sofa Tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she released the EP Ex Talk in 2021. She is currently signed to the independent label AllPoints and released her second album, Matriarchy, in 2024.
