
Joyce Manor is an American punk rock band formed in Torrance, California, in 2008. The band’s lineup includes singer-songwriter and guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, and bassist and backing vocalist Matt Ebert. The band’s musical style is rooted in punk rock, with diversification over its career. The group gained initial momentum through word-of-mouth and social media exposure. Since 2015, the band has had a different drummer for each album cycle. Joyce Manor has released six studio albums, with their debut, titled 'Joyce Manor', coming out in 2011 through the indie label 6131. Their second album, 'Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired', was released in 2012 via Asian Man. The band signed with Epitaph Records, releasing 'Never Hungover Again' in 2014. Subsequent albums include 'Cody' (2016), which explored different song structures and tempos, and 'Million Dollars to Kill Me' (2018). They released a compilation titled 'Songs from Northern Torrance' in 2020 and '40 oz. to Fresno' in 2022. Their most recent album, 'I Used to Go to This Bar', was released in 2026.
