Headache

From Don’t Ask (b-sides)2022

Lyrics

Headache

[Chorus]

Why'd they put the headache so close to my brain?

Every time I open my mouth I explain

There's no peace of mind in the public domain

I've been getting bug bites and I'm voting for the government

I breathe air with the front of my face

I read books with the front of my face

A new band with exactly the same name

Why'd they put the headache so close to my brain?

Why'd they put the headache so close to my brain?

Why'd they put the headache so close to my brain?

[Verse 1]

I did or did not break a German law

What did I learn? Well, first, that I was right

A sleeping man, a curious bear:

You won't believe what happens next!

[Pre-Chorus]

I'm getting ready to do some man work

Man work (Man work)

I'm all ready to do some man work

Man work (Man work)

[Chorus]

Why'd they put the headache so close to my brain?

Every time I open my mouth I explain

Your mural's not especially tasteful

If you think the dream is stupid, here's a gift receipt

Are aliens real? Are aliens real?

$90 band shirts! Bad things happen!
