This was one of the very few songs that I've written in my career of songwriting. Where, uh, you know. I didn't collaborate with anyone. I didn't really, uhm. For lack of better terms, I didn't feel like I, I worked for it. It was one of those tunes that kinda fell in my lap and, uhm, it kinda wrote itself. And uh, I think it probably took, uh, maybe fifteen, twenty minutes to pretty much write the tune. And, and it really hasn't changed from, from that point.
And it was always a special song, because of, at the time I was getting ready to head out to Hollywood and do all this stuff for American Idol, so it was, uhm. It was, uh, it was kind of a foreshadowing of what's to come, I guess.
