Indonesian alt-pop trio Elephant Kind have shared a new single, ‘Rockstar’

The track arrived today, October 21st, via Mola Records.

Elephant Kind have shared a comeback single, ‘Rockstar’, the first product of their new signing to Mola Records.

It is their first single of the year, following ‘Modern Romance Dreaming (Lonely)’ which dropped in May 2021.

The trio originated in Jakarta but are now based in London, moving continent to immerse themselves in a fresh environment. Their new single is the first result of this transition and is an effective reintroduction to the band after their 17-month absence.

On the new track, frontman Bam Mastro says: “‘Rockstar’ is an aperture of my state of mind during a time of uncertainty. I’ve never been more articulate in my writing than what I’ve done with ‘Rockstar’, I’m glad to be able to get everything I needed to say off my chest. This is our first track in a long time, one we never saw coming.“
