Antony Szmierek has shared new single
'Angie's Wedding', the latest track to emerge from his forthcoming debut album
'Service Station At The End Of The Universe'.The Manchester-based poet, writer, and producer's new offering pays tribute to a fictional wedding party where characters from the album unite.
"The album was always going to end at a wedding or a wake, and I went with the most positive option," Szmierek explains. "Inspired by motorway graffiti, a track that takes us to a place where 'the doers and the dreamers' of the world live forever. All recorded in one continuous take, with the mistakes left in."
The track follows singles '
Yoga Teacher' and '
The Great Pyramid Of Stockport', all set to feature on his debut album, releasing via Mushroom Music/Virgin Music Group on 28th February.
Szmierek will support the release with a series of instore performances and headline dates. The dates in full read:
