Arkayla have shared ‘Run Kid’, a kitchen-sink anthem about pushing past the bullshit
A sold-out headline tour and summer festival run lie ahead for the quartet.

Arkayla have dropped their latest single 'Run Kid', marking the Manchester quartet's first new music since their EP 'DON'T LOOK FOR ANSWERS' arrived last year.
Speaking about the track, the band said: "Run Kid is a proper optimistic tune, it's about ignoring all the bullshit that gets in the way of life and keeping on moving forward. It has a punkier energy to it than our other songs which is a side of our sound which we used to try and fight. With Run Kid we let go of all expectation for what we should be writing and just threw the kitchen sink at it. It's easily our favourite tune in our set at the minute."
With a spring tour and lots of festivals still to come, their recent live history includes a 900-capacity headline slot at Manchester's O2 Academy, along with support appearances alongside Blossoms, The Lathums, Seb Lowe and The Royston Club.
