Babyshambles have confirmed their first live shows in eleven years, marking 20 years of debut ‘Down In Albion’

A pre-sale opens on 3rd September.

Babyshambles are set to return to the stage for the first time in eleven years, confirming a ten-date UK run across autumn and winter to coincide with the 20th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Down In Albion’.

The tour will visit venues in Norwich, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Nottingham and Plymouth, including a stop at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

The band’s catalogue includes the albums ‘Down In Albion’ (2005), ‘Shotter’s Nation’ (2007) and ‘Sequel To The Prequel’ (2013), alongside the singles ‘Killamangiro’, ‘Fuck Forever’, ‘Albion’ and ‘Delivery’.

Peter Doherty says, “It’s unfinished business and everywhere I go I get ‘what’s happening with the ‘shambles.’ It’s a no brainer for me, a real desire to play some of them old tunes and have a little shindig.”

Drew McConnell adds, “The death of Patrick [Walden, former band member] made us determined that we have to tour now.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10:00am on 5th September. An exclusive pre-sale is available from 10:00am on 3rd September.
