bdrmm have released a final single 'Lake Disappointment' ahead of third album 'Microtonic'
The Hull band's latest offering follows recent singles 'John On The Ceiling' and 'Infinity Peaking'.

bdrmm have shared new single 'Lake Disappointment', the final preview of their third album 'Microtonic', set for release via Rock Action Records.
The Hull band's latest offering continues their exploration of electronic elements, following recent singles 'John On The Ceiling' and 'Infinity Peaking'. This sonic direction was influenced by their experiences supporting Daniel Avery and performing at London's Field Day.
Singer and guitarist Ryan Smith discusses the track, saying: "It was such a dream to work on. I feel like within all the melancholy of the record there is a lot of anger too. This is us getting that out, and saying 'fuck you' to the wrongdoers." He adds that it's "probably the most aggressive and exciting song we've conjured up."
The single arrives with a music video directed by Joe and Scott Gist. Speaking about the visual, Smith explains: "I will always hold such a great memory of shooting the video. We ventured to an abandoned warehouse in Sheffield and recruited an amazing production team and created our own dystopian TV shopping channel (under strong orders [from] our bosses at MicroTech). We must have been sick for a week after, from being stood around in the cold for 12 hours in hospital gowns, but it was worth it. No pain, no gain (we're still waiting for the gain)."
