Bella Poarch has released her new single ‘Sweet Delusion’.
The track marks a new direction for the singer-songwriter, and was co-written by Poarch with Lucas Sim, Christina Galligan, and Skyler Stonestreet, with Sim also handling production duties.
Poarch says of the release: “‘Sweet Delusion’ is a new beginning for me. I’m both excited and a little nervous for its release because it’s so different from anything I’ve done before. My hope is that anyone who listens to it feels something – because what is music without evoking feeling? This track, and this new chapter, reflect the most raw version of myself, one that’s learning to stay grounded and true despite all the external pressures and voices.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Christina Xing and co-starring actor Gavin Leatherwood, was shot on 35mm film.
