The track marks the fourth single from Jennie's upcoming debut solo album 'Ruby', following previous releases 'Mantra', 'Zen' and 'Love Hangover' featuring Dominic Fike. The full album, comprising 15 tracks, will arrive on 7th March and includes collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis.
Speaking to Hits Radio, Jennie discussed her collaboration with Doechii, saying, "I had been manifesting it for the longest time. It takes time and things need to really work out and coordinate together for a song to work out, and it magically did."
The BLACKPINK member also shared insight into the album's creation, noting, "So many different emotions have been put into this album. I think for this whole album, every little step was experimenting and going out of that comfort zone and really trying something new and fun and being crazy and bold and vulnerable."
