Kim Gordon has shared a full 72-minute live performance film from Paris, documenting her current live show built around latest solo album ‘PLAY ME’.
Filmed at Le Trianon on 17th April and now streaming via ARTE, the set sees Gordon perform ‘PLAY ME’ in full alongside songs from her previous solo records ‘The Collective’ and ‘No Home Record’. Gordon is backed by Emily Retsas on bass, Madi Voigt on drums and Sarah Register on guitar.
The setlist includes tracks including ‘BYE BYE’, ‘The Candy House’, ‘It’s Dark Inside’, ‘Cookie Butter’ and a closing performance of ‘Cigarette’.
‘PLAY ME’, released in March via Matador, is Gordon’s third solo album. The record explores themes including tech culture, AI, capitalism and political collapse, while continuing the abrasive, experimental sound that has defined her recent solo work.
