Nottingham's Bloodworm are teasing their debut EP with gothic folk-tinged single ‘Alone In Your Garden’
Nottingham's Bloodworm have unveiled 'Alone In Your Garden', the latest track taken from their forthcoming debut EP 'Blood & Lust'. The four-track release arrives on 24th April through Your Childhood Records.

The trio - George Curtis on guitar and vocals, Chris Walker on bass, and Euan Stevens on drums - have not long joined Suede on a sold-out 17-date tour, with a confirmed a run of headline shows across the UK this spring.

Speaking about the track, frontman George says: "This song was written during Autumn over a particularly cold couple of days. I was inspired by the very unique feeling of that time of year, the smell of the air, the falling leaves, the damp stillness that all feels so specifically English. I was trying to invoke those feelings within a song. The song was an attempt at mixing old English folk, with all its folklore and emphasis on tales, with the gothic sound that I am drawn to."

Alongside the EP, which also includes tracks 'The Crown' and 'Clairvoyance', Bloodworm have confirmed a run of headline shows across the UK this spring.
