Blossom Caldarone has unveiled ‘Secret’, inspired by secrets, solitude and an Italian village

Blossom Caldarone has shared 'Secret', completing the trio of singles ahead of her EP 'Might Smash A Window', which arrives on 10th April, following 'Waxing Lyrical' and 'Wreck'.

Pat Pearson handled production duties on the EP at Middle Farm Studios in Devon. Speaking about the new track, Caldarone offers a cryptic insight: "Telling you what Secret is about would defeat the object, but think of your biggest secret, and picture shouting it from the mountains. You feel release, but still nobody knows your secret, because no one can hear you."

Accompanying the single is a video shot on an iPhone by Caldarone's cousin in Abruzzo, Italy, where the song originally took shape during a period she spent living there. "It only felt right for the video to be set in the place that conjured the song. I feel a really special connection to my family there, even when I am on my own – that village knows all my secrets."
