Cathy Jain has released her second EP, ‘spacegirl’, which contains a new track, ‘the death of cat’

Cathy Jain has completed her second EP, ‘spacegirl’, with the new track, ‘the death of cat’.

The new project arrived today, October 14th, and comes after her debut EP, ‘artificial, which dropped in November 2021 - Cathy walked Dork through the 4-track record, which you can catch up on here.

The new EP follows the release of singles ‘UFO’, ‘gaslight’, and ‘PLAYFIGHT’. Its arrival brings a fourth and previously unheard track, ‘the death of cat’.

“‘the death of cat’ is a coming of age song,” Cathy has shared. “Lyrically, it's a sad song because it talks about how things just seem to be getting worse as you get older, but musically it's very bright and playful, inspired by children’s tv shows like ‘In the Night Garden’.
