Cautious Clay chronicles the hours of the day with his new 'The Hours: Morning' album
Cautious Clay reveals new morning-themed album with eight tracks tied to specific hours, alongside latest single 'Tokyo Lift (5am)'.

Cautious Clay has announced his new album 'The Hours: Morning', set for release via Concord Records on 16th May.
Alongside the announcement, he has shared new single 'Tokyo Lift (5am)', following last month's 'No Champagne (6am)'. The eight-track album presents songs associated with specific morning hours, from 5am through to noon.
Speaking about the concept behind the album, Clay shares: "Every hour of the day has a distinct feeling to me. With this eight-song project, I wanted to reflect on what the morning feels like to me, so I made what felt like 8 discrete hours of the day. Some of the hours feel calm, and some of the hours have more energy, but I wanted them to play off of each other based on different experiences I've had during those times of day."
