Who's got who? Chappell Roan's trying to stand up for artist welfare, so why are some dragging their heels?

From losing health insurance to sparking an industry-wide conversation, pop's newest advocate is challenging the status quo of artist welfare

In discussing the inspiration behind the track, Chappell reveals, "I wrote this song so I could live out my cheerleader fantasy! I just wanted to make something simple and silly that I could do with the audience because I'm a huge fan of audience participation. Also, selfishly (and shamelessly) wanted to bounce around on stage singing a song about being hot."
'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' is out on 22 September via Amusement / Island Records.
