Chloe Moriondo gets down with the mermaids with new single ‘girls with gills’ ahead of her September UK dates

Preparing an immersive live set after a North American headline run.

Chloe Moriondo have released a new single, ‘girls with gills’, via Public Consumption/Atlantic Records, accompanied by an official visual. The track arrives ahead of a short run of UK headline shows later this month.

The song follows Moriondo’s third studio album, ‘oyster’, issued earlier this year. Made with Jonah Summerfield, Chloe Kraemer, AfterHrs and others, the record was introduced by the singles ‘shoreline’, ‘hate it’, and ‘abyss’.

“girls with gills is what you hear bumping from the hottest club in atlantis,” says Chloe. “if you can get down, you can get in!! it’s full of sparkle, chaos, bubbles, and mermaids shaking ass.”

Chloe adds: “Bringing oyster to life live is going to be the most exciting experience!! I love touring so much and am planning such a fun and immersive set.”

Moriondo recently completed a North American headline run and will return to the US in the autumn to support Waterparks. A six‑date UK leg is scheduled for September.

The dates read:

19 The Key Club, Leeds, UK
20 Yes (Pink Room), Manchester, UK
21 King Tut’s, Glasgow, UK
23 Hare and Hounds, Birmingham, UK
24 The Fleece, Bristol, UK
25 O2 Academy Islington, London, UK
