Fontaines D.C. have lined up a trio of August shows in Spain, setting the scene for their headline appearances at Reading & Leeds.
The last time the Dublin five-piece played a live set was August of last year, closing out the '
Romance' campaign with a run that took in a major Finsbury Park date in London. They will now break that hiatus with stops in Cádiz, Alicante and Pamplona.
Sharing the news online, the band said: "Spain. We are playing a few shows this August and can't wait to return to a place that has always felt special to us."
A pre-sale opens at 10am BST/11am CEST on 27th May for those who register in advance, with general sale following at the same time on 29th May.
Beyond the Spanish run, the group's summer takes in headline duties at Reading & Leeds alongside Charli XCX, Florence + The Machine and Dave, a top slot at Electric Picnic in Ireland, plus billings at Frequency, La Route du Rock and Shaky Knees.
Following 'Romance', the band put out standalone single '
It's Amazing To Be Young' as part of a deluxe reissue, lent their talents to the 'Help(2)' charity compilation, and contributed to the soundtrack for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
