Clairo has shared a new cover of Margo Guryan's 'Love Songs' for Sub Pop's upcoming tribute album
The record also features Frankie Cosmos, Empress Of and more.
Clairo has released a cover of Margo Guryan's 'Love Songs'.
The release is part of an upcoming tribute album to the late singer-songwriter, with 'Like Someone I Know: A Celebration of Margo Guryan' set to be released on 8th November via Sub Pop.
The 12-track compilation features artists reinterpreting songs from Guryan's 1968 album 'Take a Picture', with contributions from Empress Of, Margo Price, TOPS, Rahill, June McDoom, MUNYA & Kainalu, Frankie Cosmos & Good Morning, Kate Bollinger, Pearl & The Oysters, Bedouine & Sylvie, and Barrie.
The release coincides with the third anniversary of Guryan's passing in 2021. A portion of proceeds from the album will be donated to organisations providing and advocating for affordable reproductive health services.
