pyncher have announced their new EP, ‘I Really Mean It This Time’, and shared its latest single, ‘Oh Boy’.
The Manchester quartet's new EP will arrive on 19th June via Heist or Hit. Produced by Alex Greaves at The Nave in Leeds, it follows the band's debut EP, ‘Every Town Needs a Stranger’.
“This song is about feelings I can’t really explain,” says vocalist Sam Blakeley. “I feel disconnected from people a lot, and it’s about the cyclical patterns that can come from being unable to communicate properly.”
The announcement follows the band's recent appearance at the BBC 6 Music Festival in Manchester. Later this year, pyncher will head out on tour with The Sophs and play a run of festival dates across the UK and Europe.
The country-leaning track co-written with Jack Antonoff arrives via Pixar sequel soundtrack.
