The Singapore-born songwriter readies follow-up 'Falling Behind' and headline London show.

Former Coming Up Roses guitarist Darius Oon has launched his solo career with debut single ‘Sense’.
Released today (29th May), the self-produced indie-pop track blends jangling guitars, sparkling synths and breezy hooks inspired by artists including boy pablo and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.
The song was written after Oon got together with his now-girlfriend last summer, sparked by a comment from a mutual friend. “It’s about that feeling of when you find someone who you connect with so easily - like two peas in a pod,” he explains. “A close friend of ours said to me: ‘you guys make sense’ and that's when the first sparks of the idea came to me.”
‘Sense’ marks Oon’s first solo release since departing Coming Up Roses earlier this year. Alongside writing the song, he also recorded, produced and mixed it himself.
“It’s been a bit of a whirlwind of a year for me,” he says, “but I feel like I'm finally where I'm supposed to be and I can't wait to release some of the songs that I've kept in the locker for years.”
Oon will play his debut headline show at The Finsbury in London on 12th June, with further singles due later this year including ‘Falling Behind’ in July.
The remix arrives ahead of a deluxe edition of last year's 'METAL FORTH'.
