DEADLETTER have announced their new album 'Existence Is Bliss'
The album features the lead single 'To The Brim' with a new music video.
DEADLETTER have announced their second album, 'Existence Is Bliss', set to be released on 27th February via SO Recordings.
The band, originally formed in 2020 by Zac Lawrence, Alfie Husband, and George Ullyott, are following up their debut album, 'Hysterical Strength', which was released in 2024.
The announcement comes alongside the release of their lead single 'To The Brim', on which the band comment: "To the Brim explores the experience of dealing and living with denial and the way in which it will leave you feeling incapacitated and overflowing (brimming!) with despair. Musically, we wanted a fresh start, perhaps in reaction to that denial."
Of the album, they add: "We are surrounded, totally enveloped by impurity and subjected to the lassitude its relentless jaws leave behind. To choose to live amidst this reality, as opposed to merely exist in it, is, to paraphrase a great philosopher, heroic." They added, "Existence is Bliss, but to LIVE is a great turmoil whose payoff is without bounds."
