The Dirty Nil have dropped their new single 'Rock N' Roll Band'

The Dirty Nil are teasing their new album 'The Lash', set for release on 25th July via Dine Alone Records, with new single 'Rock N' Roll Band'.

The track addresses the realities of life on the road, with frontman Luke Bentham explaining: "This is the first song I wrote for The Lash. I don't remember what particular aspect of the industry had got my goat that day but I'd worked myself up to a fine lather. I blasted out the whole song in 30 minutes and instantly felt better. Though the song is pretty negative, it makes me happy. This one is for all the road dogs, we salute you."

'The Lash' was recorded with the band's front-of-house engineer and producer Vince Solveri over a two-week period. The ten-track album drew inspiration from Bentham's visit to the Vatican, where he encountered bronze reliefs in the basement. UK designer Jack Sabbat was brought in to create the album's artwork.
